This relatively small bowl packs a a lot of figuring. It is made from locally grown walnut and shows the great contrast between heartwood and sapwood. It can be used for a variety of practical purposes but is also just a beautiful item just to look at. It has a wafer thin base. It is finished with walnut oil.
