These salad servers come from a tree that had to be felled locally. Walnut shows a beautiful contrast between the light sapwood and the very dark heartwood.
They are finished in walnut oil (what else?) and beeswax. As with all wooden items, they should not be soaked an water but just wiped clean. They should definitely not find their way into the dishwasher.
