This spatula is based on a design that we picked up on a visit to New Zealand. It is based on the club from the Maori tradition. It makes for a very ergonomic design and is comfortable to use. It is made from a cherry tree that fell in our garden.
It is finished in our own walnut oil and beeswax wood conditioner. It should only be hand washed and left to dry naturally. That way it will give many years of use.
