This delightful little bowl comes from a rowan tree that died in the garden. It had to be felled in December 2022 and this is the first bowl to be turned from that tree. There is a nice contrast between the sapwood and the heartwood. The bowl in finished in walnut oil and beeswax and so is suitable for handing food but I is primarily a decorative bowl.
