This large open form bowl in made from thujopsis that fell in the garden. It has a lovely smooth texture and warm colouring.
Thujopsis dolabrata, commonly known as Hiba, is a dense, slow-growing, pyramidal, evergreen conifer that is native to moist forested areas in central Japan.
Approximate dimensions 120mm x 220mm diameter (4 3/4″ x 8 1/2″ diameter).
