This very large bowl is made from the giant sequoia tree that had to be felled at Ross Priory, Loch Lomond. It is the largest bowl that can be made on my lathe. It has beautiful markings showing the contrast between the deep red heartwood and the pale sapwood. It sits on a small pedestal.
